Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Instruction
Can be tailored as an informative lecture for a large group, but small group instruction is preferred.
Dr. Fergus can provide detailed instruction on diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound technique
These sessions would include some didactic sessions which would cover the very basics of ultrasound, but largely consist of practical, "hands-on" sessions to learn the basic examination protocols for the major joints in the body. Each individual topic would require at least an hour to communicate the basic protocols.

Topics:

- Basic ultrasound physics/"knobology" (how the machine woks)

- Appearance of normal anatomic structures on ultrasound

- Appearance of various pathologies on ultrasound (with case specific examples)

- Shoulder

- Elbow

- Wrist/Hand

- Hip

- Knee

-Ankle/Foot

The cost of sessions will vary depending on the number of people present and length of time needed.
